Another F processor will join Intel's new Core processor family, this is the Core i3-9100F. Therefore, the latter joins the i9-9900KF, i7-9700KF, i5-9600KF, i3-9350KF, i5-9400F and i3-8100F that were announced earlier this year.

Core i3-9100F simply replaces 8100F

We are in a position to ensure that the 9100F simply replaces the 8100F that was on Intel's first listings and that it will surely disappear in favor of a 9 series renaming.

With this model, Intel will offer us a processor with 4 cores, but without Hyper Threading. It will also have 4 x 256 kB of L2 cache and 6 MB of L3 cache.

The chip can be seen in the SiSoft Sandra database and he tells us that the chip comes with a base frequency of 3.6 GHz, but since we are talking about an i3, we do not have Turbo speed unfortunately. The processor will support 2400 MHz DDR4 memory in Dual-Channel and its TDP will be 65 watts.

The 'F' implemented by Intel in the nomenclature of these processors means that they will come without integrated iGPU, unlike the 'normal' Intel Core. Although they lack iGPU, the prices between both '' F '' or '' without F '' models are practically the same. To this day we still do not know why Intel made this decision.

The i3-9100F is expected to sell for around 117 euros by the time it hits stores. Its release date is unknown. We will keep you informed.
