The something that may sound like science fiction but it seems to be very serious, Intel will put new Kaby Lake family processors with AMD Radeon graphics on the market before the end of this year 2017.

First Intel Kaby Lake with AMD Radeon graphics on the way

The first rumors came in the month of December and they are getting stronger, A MD will license Intel the use of its Radeon graphics in a new collaboration that will give a significant boost in the graphics performance of Intel processors. New information suggests that Intel will launch a new processor from the Kaby Lake family in which the main novelty will be to discard its own graphics to place a powerful AMD Radeon GPU.

We recommend our guide to the best processors on the market (2016)

This new processor will arrive this year 2017 and will be based on a multi-chip module so that the AMD Radeon GPU will be separated from the die of the Intel CPU. The reason for this is that AMD will supply Intel matrices with its own Radeon technology and manufactured by its partners such as GlobalFoundries, TSMC or Samsung. With this move AMD avoids giving Intel "sensitive" information about its graphics technology. It is not yet known which range the new Intel processor will target but it could well be a chip for laptops in order to offer integrated graphics more capable than its Iris Pro.

An alliance that in the past would have sounded like a joke but if we take into account the number of processors that Intel sells it can be a great source of income for AMD.
