Inwin 309 the new chassis

If there is a manufacturer that does things differently, this is InWin, and now it has brought us a total of three chassis at Computex 2019 to which one more exclusive. We will start first with the InWin 309, a normal ATX chassis a priori, although with a front never seen before.

And it is without a doubt that the enormous claim of this chassis is precisely its front, a front that is provided with 144 addressable LEDs. This panel is practically a giant screen that will remain black if we turn them off or we will have absolutely anything drawn on it if we customize each of its LEDs independently with the GLOW 2 brand software.

If we prefer, we can also connect it to a motherboard compatible with lighting technology to synchronize it with our devices, although of course we would be missing out on its enormous customization possibilities. And it's not all friends, because the manufacturer has also included three InWin EGO fans that have 16 addressable LEDs in the silicone frame with which they are built. Possibly the most beautiful and original I have ever seen, and they are also manageable through the aforementioned software.

InWin 309 features a port panel on the house-branded left side area, with three interaction buttons for lighting with 12 preset effects. And at the top, we have a sensor that allows the panel lighting to the rhythm of the music. Be careful, we can have our own lamp in the room, since the software has a function for this. Returning to the I / O panel, we have 1 USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C, 2 USB 3.0 and Audio Jack, nothing out of the ordinary.

As for the rest of the chassis, we have a tempered glass window that occupies the full left side, and a capacity inside for CPU coolers up to 160 mm, graphics cards up to 350 mm and ATX, Micro-ATX motherboards and ITX. The power supply is installed on the top next to the three fans it includes, or we can place them below and thus leave room for liquid cooling of up to 360 mm.

Finally, it offers a storage capacity for 2 3.5-inch drives and 3 SSDs maximum. Total measurements are 500 x 238 x 553 mm, so it is an almost full-size cap.
