InWin returns to the fray with its new super tower InWin 928. This is a PC case for large motherboards and a fairly robust design.

InWin 928 is a huge tower for E-ATX motherboards

How big? InWin says it will support boards up to 14 x 14 inches, which is much larger than EATX and SSI EEB's 12 x 13 inches. It even has eight expansion slots, in case you want to install an old XL-ATX card or locate a graphics card from the bottom slot of your ATX / EATX / SSE EEB unit.

The large motherboard bracket doesn't even begin to describe the enormity of the 928. It's wide enough that an EATX motherboard can be installed sideways. Box dimensions are 582 x 337 x 668mm and include space for additional fans behind graphics cards up to 480mm in length.

The box has a maximum of 6 2.5-inch bays and another 2 3.5-inch bays. The fan holder is wide enough to cool inside the chassis. About 6 fans at the top, 3 at the front and 3 at the back with 140mm fans.

Constructed of thick aluminum and tempered glass and equipped with dual USB 3.1 Gen2 and USB 3.0 ports, in total the entire InWin 928 weighs about 23.2kg. Priced at $ 999, it goes on sale May 16 in the InWin eStore.
