Apple has finally left us with iOS 13, the new version of its operating system. A version that will be launched from September on their iPad, iPhone and iPod touch officially. In this new version we find a series of changes, some of which were being rumored weeks ago, but which have finally been announced by the Cupertino firm.

The list of news that arrive in it is quite extensive. But surely there are changes that are of interest to many of the users. We tell you all about this version below.

Dark mode

The first change we find in the operating system is the introduction of dark mode. Users will be able to activate it both from the Settings and from the Control Center. In models with an OLED panel, it will consume less energy, in addition to being kinder to the eye in low light situations. A function that many users with an iPhone looked forward to.

New privacy measures in iOS 13

Apple wanted to make privacy one of the main topics in this presentation. Therefore, they introduce a series of measures related to it in iOS 13. On the one hand, a system called Sing in with Apple is introduced, thanks to which we will be allowed to access apps without having to transfer data from our Google profiles or from Facebook.

On the other hand, when we register in an application, we will be able to choose if we want to use our emails so that the firm communicates with us. In this case, there is the possibility of using a private email created by Apple for that specific use.

Photo and camera enhancements

Photos will use Artificial Intelligence to show us the photos in a more useful way. It has been launched with the intention of reliving moments from the Days section, where we have photos that are highlighted or considered most relevant.

While also the camera of iOS 13 has received a series of improvements. In this case it is portrait modes, which get new ways to edit the effect. Also, from now on, the controls are much more intuitive than before.

Redesign in apps

On the other hand, we find a series of important changes in its design, in many apps. Reminders has been completely redesigned in this regard, it is the one with the most changes. Also the Maps app is modified, with some changes that may remind those that Google introduced in Google Maps a month ago.

Maps will have more detailed maps, as announced by Apple, to be released in late 2019 in the United States, but we do not know more about dates. In addition, we are going to have a function that allows us to see the streets in 3D, called Look Around.

Messages and animoji

From now on, thanks to this new version, we will have an improvement in the Messages app. You can put a name and profile picture in the app, so that the people we talk to in the app will be able to see it. It does not matter if this person is in our contacts.

On the other hand, iOS 13 also updates the animoji, allowing new customization options in them. A function that many users like, since they are a very popular element in the system.

A beta of iOS 13 opens in a month, as Apple itself has already confirmed. Although the final release date of the operating system is a mystery, surely in September, when the new generation of iPhone launches, they will probably arrive with this version natively.
