Apple has recognized that the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus have a problem with the battery charge indicator, a problem that causes the drop to be out of proportion to the actual battery charge of the device.
This issue causes the gauge to indicate that the charge is higher than it actually is and appears to be caused by the device's time settings, moving between different time zones causes the battery gauge to be out of adjustment. A problem that has a very simple solution, simply restart the terminal or check that the clock is set to update the time automatically.
The next iOS update is expected to fix this bug permanently.
