Jiayu g5s: technical characteristics, availability and price

This morning we bring to Professional Review a new Asian terminal, specifically Chinese, and more specifically from the Jiayu company: we are talking about the Jiayu G5S, a Smartphone with very competitive characteristics that, although it is included in the mid-range, in some respects it has little to envy other terminals of higher ranges. Throughout this article we will detail each of the benefits that this Smartphone offers us and then we can reach a more accurate conclusion about the relationship between its quality and its price. We begin:

Technical characteristics:

Screen: Capacitive that has a not inconsiderable size of 4.5 inches, accompanied by a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, giving it a density of 312 pixels per inch. It also features IPS technology, which gives it a wide viewing angle and highly defined colors. OGS technology also makes an appearance, which is responsible for carrying out energy savings. To protect itself from scratches, as well as any possible blows it may receive, it is accompanied by the glass manufactured by the company Corning Gorilla Glass 2.

Processor: The jiayu is accompanied by an eight-core MediaTek MT6592 CPU running at 1.7 GHz, an ARM Mali-450 MP4 graphics chip, and good 2GB RAM. As we can see, the most gamers have no excuse to fully enjoy this terminal. Its operating system is Android, available in version 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Cameras: its main or rear sensor has a remarkable size of 13 megapixels, with BSI technology, which allows us to take good quality photographs even in low light conditions. CMOS technology also makes an appearance, controlling brightness and correcting contrast. It also has an autofocus function and an LED flash. As for the front lens, we can say that it has a much lower resolution of 3 megapixels, but that it will come as pearls for taking “selfies” and video calls.

Internal memory: this Chinese Smartphone has a single 16 GB model for sale, and this storage can be expanded thanks to its microSD card slot, in this case with up to 64 GB of capacity.

Connectivity: this Smartphone has connections to which we are already accustomed such as 3G, Wifi, Bluetooth and Micro USB, without LTE / 4G technology making an appearance.

Battery: it has a not inconsiderable capacity of 2000 mAh, which will give it a more or less remarkable autonomy depending on the use we give to the terminal.

Design: The jiayu has dimensions of 130 mm high x 63.5 mm wide x 7.9 mm thick and weighs 161 grams. As we can see, it is a terminal of excellent dimensions in relation to the rest of its specifications. It is made of a metal body that makes it robust. We find it available in white and black.
