Jim Keller, Zen Development Leader, Joins The Intel Ranks

Jim Keller, the CPU architect who has led the development of AMD's Zen microarchitecture, is officially addressing the ranks of Intel. Keller has previously worked for AMD on the development of the legendary Athlon 64 processor, then turned to Apple to develop the A4 and A5 SoCs found on the iPhone 4 and 4S. In 2012 he returned to the ranks of AMD to lead the development of Zen, to leave the company again once this architecture was complete.
