Kodak announces its first smartphone
Kodak has announced the IM5, its first smartphone and which has been manufactured by the Chinese company Bullit Group. With this, the legendary manufacturer of photographic cameras enters a market as close as that of smartphones.
The Kodak IM5 mounts a 5-inch HD screen that is brought to life by an 8-core MediaTek processor at a frequency of 1.7 GHz. Next to the processor we find 1 GB of RAM to move the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system smoothly (Android 5.0 on the way) and 8 GB of expandable internal storage.
As for the optics, it has a 13-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel front camera managed by software that allows you to configure a large number of parameters, edit the photos and share them.
It comes with a personalization layer that allows quick access to functions such as calling, sending SMSs, camera and contacts. It will be available at the end of the first quarter of this year for an exchange price of $ 250.
