Windows 10 2h19 update improves cpu single power

If we remember, not many weeks ago, vulnerabilities against different malwares hit Intel and, to a lesser extent, AMD . While the situation is not settled at all, we do see a brighter future with the upcoming Windows 10 2H19 update. Apparently, the work-sharing algorithm has been remarkably improved, so single-core performance will improve.

As well as a quick summary, later this year we will receive "the great update Windows 10 2H19". As you can imagine, it will bring various improvements in security, performance and more, but the announcement about the performance of the processors stands out.
Apparently, this update will allow CPUs to indicate which are their "favored cores" to enhance their use. Thanks to this, these cores will be used more frequently, which will undoubtedly improve single-core performance.
In case you do not know what the favored nuclei are, they are those nuclei that are better built, since the lithography process is not perfect. Since the manufacturing is at nanometric scales, it is normal that certain parts have turned out better, that is, more powerful / efficient than others.
The issue is that Intel with its Turbo Boost Max 3.0 and AMD , in general, can communicate to the OS which are the best cores. In the case of the red team, they are also capable of even indicating the best cores on a CCX (4-core neighborhood) .
This change is expected to improve tasks between 1-4 threads by up to 15% . For AMD these improvements will be positive for all of their newer CPUs , while for Intel they will only be for processors with Turbo Boost Max 3.0 . Unfortunately, this technology is only available to the top processors of the blue team.
