The amd radeon fury x is in short supply
AMD has confirmed that they have stock problems with the Radeon R9 Fury X and that the card will start to be in short supply in stores soon, a fact that indicates that the card is selling very well despite having shown a lower performance than expected.
Good news for AMD that sees its new flagship fly out of stores. Another possible cause of the shortage of cards is that the manufacturing of units is very limited by the limited availability of HBM memory, something that was already rumored.
A situation similar to that experienced with the Radeon R9 290 that were scarce in the market at the time due to the boom in Bitcoin mining and the high demand for these cards that offered the best ratio between energy consumed and mining speed.
Finally they tell us about the Radeon R9 Nano that will arrive in August with the same Fiji GPU and HBM memory, it is expected to offer similar performance to the R9 390 with significantly lower consumption in addition to a very small size.
