Apple's app store is riddled with malware
No operating system gets rid of malware no matter how much the most fans insist on making it believe, iOS could not be an exception and we have known that the Apple App Store has more malware than Apple and its fans want us to believe.
There is always talk of Android and its Google Play when it comes to viruses, but this time it seems that the App Store has grown a hole. The malware would have managed to reach the Apple app store thanks to the XcodeGhost development environment. The XcodeGhost framework appears to contain malware allowing hackers to overcome App Store barriers by sneaking malware into up to 39 applications including some as popular as WeChat and Didi Chuxing.
For now the malware does not seem to be able to steal passwords although it is better to be careful. The full list of applications affected by malware can be found here
