The geforce gtx 960 could arrive in January
According to the SweClockers website the new and highly anticipated mid-range graphics card Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 will arrive in January at CES in Las Vegas.
A few days ago a new model of graphics card has been validated in the certification office. The model called PG301 could be the code name for nvidia's new GeForce GTX 960 card based on the GM206 chip with Maxwell architecture, remember that the name PG401 has been used for the GTX 980 and 970.
The specifications of the GTX 960 remain a mystery, it could be made up of 10 SMMs for a total of 1280 CUDA Cores. Regarding memory, it could come with a 128-bit interface and a total of 2 GB of VRAM or it could come with a 192-bit interface and 3 GB of VRAM just like the GTX 970M.
The card is expected to arrive at a price of around 250-300 euros.
