Biostar has decided to take advantage of the enormous popularity that is currently in the cryptocurrency mining market. While the company already offers several recommended motherboards for digital currency mining, such as the TB250-BTC PRO with 12 PCIe 1x slots, it looks like it is now gearing up for the launch of a new motherboard with an impressive number of USB ports..

Biostar will raise the bar for mining with its next motherboard that will support up to 104 graphics cards

Specifically, the new Biostar motherboard, which can be seen in the following image, has 3 1x PCIe slots in each row (and one yellow x16 slot). Each of the connectors has 3 PCIe x1 slots and it seems that there will be a total of 104 USB ports, so if you give the budget, you can buy up to 104 graphics cards to connect to this new motherboard.

All this seems to have been possible because the cards take advantage of each of the USB ports, which are attached to the PCIe tracks, in order to receive the necessary bandwidth.

Although at this time there are already systems that allow the connection of up to four risers to a PCIe x1 card, it must also be taken into account that a motherboard of this size such as that of Biostar could not be used in an operating system such as Windows 10, which It has a limitation of up to six graphics cards at a time. On the other hand, both Biostar and ASRock allow solving this limitation by means of a small modification in the BIOS or even in the structure of the operating system.

At the moment neither the price nor the release date of this new Biostar motherboard is known, but as soon as we have this information we will reveal it in this same section.
