A few days ago we discovered that Nvidia plans to release a new graphics card called Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, and today it has just been discovered in a Benchmark made to the game Ashes of the Singularity. So that soon friends will be among us.

First benchmak in which the new Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti comes out

We bring juicy new news about the new Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, which mounts a GPU based on Turing architecture, but with RT cores removed. A card that plans to be in the lower-middle range of Nvidia at a cost of about 250 or 300 euros.

In case you do not remember its specifications, we will have no trouble including them. It is a card that mounts a TU116 12nm chip based on Turing, but it is possible to do Ray Tracing, since these cores have been deactivated. This GPU has 1536 CUDA cores and 6 GB of GDDR6 memory, destined to be located just below the new RTX 2060 and at a lower cost.

Well, as we say, it has been seen along with its specifications in a benchmark made to the game Ashes of the Singularity, the popular online real-time strategy MMO. In the results box the displayed score is 7, 400 points, at a resolution of 1080p and DirectX 11. In addition, a result of 75.6 FPS is shown on average. This would be 1200 points more than the GTX 1060, and very close to the 74 FPS that we have seen a GTX 1070 render in this game. But as we can understand, such brief results are difficult to compare, because there are many factors that will influence the performance and of course the hardware of computers.

What we do know is that the brand ensures that this GPU is going to be located below the RTX 2060 and above the GTX 1060, although we do not know exactly in which position yet, judging by the data, it seems that they place it near the GTX 1070. We also know that it will be out next month along with another version called GTX 1660 which will mount a GDDR5X memory.

We hope to have it as soon as possible to carry out an in-depth analysis of it and see where it can be realistically located. Where do you think this new graph will move? Will it out-sell the RTX 2060 or will it be a patch in the range?
