A few weeks ago something similar happened that we've already covered, but ASRock has done it again. We recently saw how the ASRock website mistakenly (presumably) published information about AMD processors. Among them we have seen AMD Athlon CPUs and APUs, which have not yet been announced.

AMD had already officially announced the Ryzen 3 3200G and Ryzen 5 3400G processors, but we were not aware of any extra components. However, the ASRock website proves that there are still things to see.

New AMD Athlon CPUs and APUs not yet announced

AMD Athlon processors

Among the announced models we will be able to see two Business Pro versions of the processors mentioned previously. Also, we will see several processors with a TDP (Thermal Design Power, in Spanish) of 35W , that is, variants with trimmed powers. These overlay models will be easily recognizable since they will have the suffix '-GE'.

Among the new products, we will also have some AMD Athlon processors , more specifically the 300GE, Pro 300GE and 320GE models. The AMD Athlon 300GE is assumed to have 4 cores and 4 threads, while the 320GE will have 4 cores and 8 threads. So far, between the normal versions and Pros we do not have any data that indicates what their final differences will be .

Everything indicates that they will be APUs without GPU , so they become much cheaper versions for some users. However, we do not have any data on when they could go to market.

So far, the data we have are these:

Model Clock frequency TDP Integrated GPU
Ryzen 3 3200G 3.6 GHz 65 W Yes
Ryzen 5 3400G 3.7 GHz 65 W Yes
Ryzen 3 Pro 3200G 3.6 GHz 45-65 W Yes
Ryzen 5 Pro 3400G 3.7 GHz 45-65 W Yes
Ryzen 3 3200GE 3.3 GHz 35 W Yes
Ryzen 3 Pro 3200GE 3.3 GHz 35 W Yes
Ryzen 5 3400GE 3.3 GHz 35 W Yes
Ryzen 5 Pro 3400GE 3.3 GHz 35 W Yes
Athlon 300GE 3.4 GHz 35 W Do not
Athlon 320GE 3.5 GHz 35 W Do not
Athlon Pro 300GE 3.4 GHz 35 W Do not
