Rumors about the GTX 1650 intensify as we get closer to launch. Last week we commented on the performance of this graphics card, approaching the numbers of the current GTX 1050 Ti. Today there are new rumors that point to a launch in three weeks.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 in three weeks

Manufacturers are gearing up for another launch of a GTX Turing graphics card. The launch of the GTX 1650 is fast approaching, offering a new option for the lower-mid range within the NVIDIA catalog.

Rumors point to NVIDIA launching the GTX 1650 on April 22. This is probably the date the cards go on sale, so we may have reviews and unboxings before this date. It should be noted that this date was provided by the partners, NVIDIA has not yet contacted specialized websites about the new graphics card.

The GeForce GTX 1650 is supposedly based on the Turing TU117 GPU. The number of CUDA cores remains unknown, but we expect an increase compared to the GTX 1050 series. The memory will also be updated for the non-Ti variant. The GTX 1050 has 2GB GDDR5, while the GTX 1650 will start with 4GB of GDDR5 memory, this is a very positive thing, because there are video games where 2GB of memory already falls short. This memory bus will be 128 bits.

We are not expecting any more GTX 16 series cards at this time. The GTX1650 and GTX1650Ti will likely be the last in the series.
