Xiaomi has officially launched its new mid-range terminals Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro at an event held in India. These are the new proposals with which the Chinese manufacturer wants to conquer users this year 2018.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and its vitaminized version Redmi Note 5 Pro include the same 5.99-inch screen with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels, which has rounded corners and 2.5D curved glass. The difference is that the Pro variant works with a new Snapdragon 636 processor with 4 + 4 Kryo 260 cores with speeds of up to 1.8 GHz and an Adreno 509 GPU graphics processor. Its younger brother settles for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, the same processor as the Mi A1 and the Redmi Note 4 Pro.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro gives you a choice between 4GB or 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of storage so you don't run out of space. On the back it includes a new dual camera system with a 12MP f / 2.2 primary sensor and a 5MP f / 2.0 depth sensor. On the front is a 20MP camera with an LED flash. This is the first Xiaomi device that supports Face Unlock technology. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 makes do with a choice of 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of storage. On the back there is a 12MP camera with f / 2.2 aperture and on the front a 5MP camera with LED flash. Specifications that are still excellent for the mid-range.

Both terminals mount the same 4, 000mAh battery without fast charging or USB-C. As for the software, they work with MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat. Both will be available in four colors: black, gold, pink, and blue. Their starting prices will be 125 euros and 175 euros to change.
