The best 4K screens - HDR from CES
In this compilation article we are going to count the best 4K - HDR screens that we have seen at the most important technology fair in the world.
The CES 2017 has served us to realize that all manufacturers are betting on this type of screen, which not only offers great sharpness in the image thanks to 4K but also greater fidelity of color saturation and hue thanks to HDR technology. Let's see which have been the 5 that have surprised the most.
Dell Ultrathin 27
This 27-inch IPS display uses the InfinityEdge concept of the brand's X13 and XPS 15 notebooks.
Dell Ultrathin 27 has true 1000: 1 contrast and around 400 nits of brightness, covering 98% of the RGB color gamut for outstanding image fidelity. The viewing angle is 178 degrees and uses a USB Type-C connection.
Dell intends to sell this screen at around $ 700, although we still have a release date.
Dell UP3218K
This 32-inch screen has an 8K resolution (7, 680 x 4, 220) with HDR technology. With this native resolution, the screen has about 33.2 million pixels.
As you can imagine, the screen is covering 100% of the sRGB and Adobe RGB color gamut, making it ideal for professional graphic design, where this peripheral is focused. The contrast is 1, 300: 1 with 400 nits of brightness.
The retail price of this display is around $ 5, 000.
ASUS SWIFT PG27UQ
ASUS is setting its sights on the market for enthusiastic gamers who want to be ready for 4K gaming. This 27-inch screen with HDR technology comes to meet this demand.
In addition to a 144Hz refresh rate and G-Sync technology, the display supports the DCI-P3 standard, which provides a 25% wider color range than sRGB. This is what we know about this model, which does not yet have a release date.
LG 32UD99
LG also presented its proposal with a 32-inch screen with IPS panel and HDR10 technology. Compatible with CDI-P3 standard with 550 nits brightness peaks. It is probably the one with the best image quality at an affordable price for most.
LG has not released a price or availability date for this screen.
Samsung CH711
Samsung could not be left out of the list with its CFG711 monitor. The peculiarity of this screen is that it has a curvature of 1800 R with a viewing angle of 178 degrees.
WE RECOMMEND YOU A new Logitech G Pro surround sound headsetSamsung's CH711 is going to come in a 31.5-inch e27 model. It should be noted that this model is not 4K but has a resolution of 1440p (2, 560 x 1, 440) covering 125% of the sRGB color gamut.
With the backlit LED panel, again we have a monitor that looks for the fidelity of the image between color and shades that HDR technology facilitates.
