Samsung's profits are down 60%
Samsung continues to dominate the market for smartphones with an iron fist but it no longer provides as many benefits as in the past and in the July-September period its benefits have been reduced.
According to the latest financial report published by the South Korean company, its benefits have been reduced by 60% in July, August and September compared to the same period last year. Despite this decrease in profits, the company expects to record profits of 3, 000 million euros, a lower figure than that obtained last year.
Without a doubt, the smartphone market is more competitive than ever and many manufacturers offer great products at quite reasonable prices, this undoubtedly leads Samsung to adjust prices and reduce its profits.
