TSMC's revenues are expected to increase at a moderate pace in the third quarter before reaching a record high in the fourth quarter, sources said. Not only is the demand for Turing GPUs driving these revenues, but also that of Smartphone manufacturers, who use TSMC for their components.

TSMC experienced a sequential decline of 13% in its June revenue, dragging its total revenue for the second quarter by almost 6% from the previous quarter to reach New York $ 233.28 billion (US $ 7.63 billion).

Market watchers attributed the decline in revenue to a slowdown in orders for Bitmain's mining ASICs and Nvidia's graphics card processors.
