According to sources, the new Nvidia 'SUPER' graphics cards would be released in July, coinciding with the launch of the 'Navi' RX 5700 graphics cards. Clearly this does not seem to be a coincidence and the objective seems quite clear, to hinder the launch of the RX 5700 models that, apparently, beat in price / performance to the RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 variants.

Nvidia plans to launch its new series of RTX SUPER graphics cards in mid-July, just after the launch of AMD's Radeon Navi graphics card series.

Igor Wallossek of Toms Hardware Germany has also revealed the specs for these new graphics cards, showing off an 8GB RTX 2060 SUPER model, a graphics card that seems to point directly towards AMD's Radeon Navi RX 5700, which also uses 8GB of GDDR6 memory..

All RTX SUPER series graphics cards will offer 128 to 256 CUDA cores more than their non-SUPER variants, with models like the RTX 2080 and RTX 2060 SUPER offering higher levels of memory bandwidth than are possible using memory. Faster GDDR6 and a wider memory bus respectively.

Nvidia is rumored to be planning to unveil its series of RTX SUPER graphics cards in the next two weeks, though so far Nvidia hasn't announced any press events.
