Nvidia's GeForce RTX 2070 will be available starting October 17. The graphics card points to more modest specifications than the RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti, but at a slightly lower price. We know that Ray Tracing technology will be present in these graphics cards, as in its older sisters, but with a lower performance.

That said, the RTX 2070 will have an official price of $ 499, that is, $ 120 above the previous Nvidia GTX 1070, not counting the so-called "NVIDIA tax", which raises the price of Founders' graphics cards. Editions up to $ 599, and allows members to increase the price of their own designs to that level, or more.

For this reason, it is not expected to be a particularly 'cheap' graphics card, even when you are using a different silicon (TU106) than the RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti (TU104). If we compare it with the Pascal generation (GTX 10), we see that Nvidia has changed the strategy regarding this model. GTX 1080 and 1070 used the same silicon (GP104), unlike the RTX series that used two different ones to further differentiate them.
