In yet another entry to LG's line of UltraGear gaming monitors (still in preparation), the popular Korean firm has unveiled a new model, the LG 27GL850G gaming monitor.

LG 27GL850G: 27-inch, Nano IPS, G-Sync, 1440p

With this new monitor, LG focuses on a 27-inch diagonal screen with all the technology one could ask for from a monitor designed for gamers.

The 27GL850G's display is of the Nano IPS type, with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 (WQHD) and supports a refresh rate of 160 Hz with overclocking and native 144 Hz.

NVIDIA G-Sync is present and supports a variable refresh rate range from 30 to 160 Hz. Static contrast ratio is 1000: 1, 178 ° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, and features phosphor backlight flicker free.

The 27GL850G, through its Nano IPS technology, is expected to cover 98% DCI-P3 color space, which is commonly used in cinema. The VESA mounting bracket is also present, and the tilt, height and pivot can be adjusted.

Monitor connectivity features 1 DisplayPort port, 1 HDMI, 2 USB 3.0 ports (with fast charge - plus another USB 3.0 port), a 3.5mm headphone jack, and DC power input.

We can see all the details of this monitor from its own section on the LG site. There we are also invited to stay tuned to CES 2019, to learn more about this LG gaming monitor, such as its price and availability date.
