Lian-Li has announced the launch of its newest product, Lian Li Strimer, a 24-pin ATX cable extension that includes a addressable RGB lighting module created in collaboration with the famous German overclocker Der8auer.

Lian Li Strimer, the illuminated 24-pin Extender ATX cable is now on sale

This innovative Lian Li Strimer 24-pin ATX extension cable was awarded the 2018 Computex Design and Innovation Award for being the first of its kind. This cable is based on a two-layer design, and includes a PCI support controller through which users can switch through 10 different RGB preset modes, it also offers an addressable RGB header for those with compatible motherboards.

The bottom layer of the Lian Li Strimer is a standard 24-pin braided power extension cable, which works with virtually any motherboard, while the top layer consists of twelve individually controllable RGB lighting cables. The bottom layer has a soft white color that complements the top layer when illuminated. The cable has a length of 200 mm, which will cover the needs of all users without problems.

Little by little, RGB is reaching elements that we did not think was possible, from motherboards to graphics cards, heatsinks, fans, chassis, SSDs and even power supplies. Its official sale price is approximately 36 euros. Without a doubt, a high price to pay for a unique product on the market that will delight even the most foodies.

What do you think will be the next component to include this type of lighting? You can leave a comment on what you would like to see over the next few years.
