List of cpus intel 'coffee lake' from here until the beginning of 2019

Table of contents:

Anonim

The Intel roadmap has been leaked regarding the processors that will leave here until the first months of 2019, where we see that Coffee Lake is going to take over this year and the beginning of the next, in addition we also see the launches for laptops and those processors that are exclusive to servers, as in the case of Cascade Lake-SP.

Intel fully bets on Coffee Lake throughout 2018

The main roadmap confirms that Coffee Lake-S will last until at least the first quarter of 2019. Shortly after the rest of the mid-range processors are available, Intel also has plans to launch Coffee Lake-H (of which already we've talked) specifically for laptops. The roadmap includes Cascade Lake-SP as Skylake-SP replacement on servers and Coffee Lake-E as Kaby Lake-E replacement for Celeron and Pentium processors.

Laptops

The roadmap only lists two 'H' processors: Core i7-8850H and i5-8400H. The Core i9-8950HK may arrive at the same time as the 8-core CPUs for the desktop platform.

Desk

We see that more chips will be added to the Coffee Lake-S line, including the 'T' series that already exist in Pentium / Celeron models.

Servers / Company

Cascade-Lake SP is confirmed as a Kaby Lake-SP update. It offers some new features, such as neural network instructions, DIMM support for DDR-T / Apache Pass, and frequency improvements.

We can see a year where Intel is betting everything on Coffee Lake and we probably won't have news of a new generation until the end of this year. Meanwhile, AMD is gearing up for the launch of the new Ryzen 2000 series, to rival Intel at least on the desktop.
