A recent list from the EEC (European Economic Commission) has revealed a multitude of third-generation Ryzen processors without notice, including Ryzen 9 3900, Ryzen 7 3700, Ryzen 5 3500 chips and three other Ryzen 3000 chips from the Pro series. As with all preliminary listings, these might simply be placeholders reflecting certain models that AMD may or may not bring to market, so take it with caution.

Ryzen 9 3900, Ryzen 7 3700 and Ryzen 5 3500 are listed in the EEC

The Ryzen 3000 series family currently consists of six models, ranging from the 6-core Ryzen 5 3600 to the 16-core Ryzen 9 3950X flagship chip. In the last few hours we have seen new evidence referring to three new Ryzen models that would join the 3000 family. The main line would supposedly receive the Ryzen 9 3900, Ryzen 7 3700 and Ryzen 5 3500.

The Ryzen 9 3900 has the same 12-core, 24-wire configuration as the Ryzen 3 3900X. The non-X variant has a 65W TDP (Thermal Design Power) power, and as a result, the chip will likely come with lower frequencies. The same goes for the eight-core, 16-wire Ryzen 7 3700.

The Ryzen 5 3500, on the other hand, could be the successor to the Ryzen 5 2500X. If so, the processor would only be available to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The specifications of the Ryzen 5 are not detailed in the list and only marks its TDP of 65W. We believe this processor would have the same number of cores and threads, which is 6 and 12.

When it comes to the Pro line, AMD is apparently working on the Ryzen 9 Pro 3900, Ryzen 7 Pro 3700, and Ryzen 5 Pro 3600 for the business market. Considering that Ryzen's 3000 series Pro and non-Pro models have an identical TDP, it is reasonable to expect them to work the same way. We will keep you informed.
