End of general support for windows 7 sp1
Today January 13, 2015 comes the end of general support for the Windows 7 SP1 operating system, so you will no longer receive any more general updates and the system will remain as it is now.
However, from now on Windows 7 SP1 enters an extended support phase, which means that it will receive security updates until January 14, 2020.
