The geforce gtx 980ti arrives

The new Nvidia GeForce GTX 980Ti graphics card is already among us, it was supposed to arrive in a few weeks but finally Nvidia has decided not to wait and has advanced its launch, in addition to doing it with a more adjusted price than expected so the GTX 980 drops in price.

The new Nvidia GeForce GTX 980Ti comes with the GM200-310 GPU with two SMM drives disabled so its specs are a bit more modest than those of the GTX TITAN X although not too much. The new card arrives with a total of 2816 CUDA Cores, 176 TMUs and 96 ROPs operating at a base frequency of 1000 MHz that go up to 1076 GHz in turbo mode, this speaking of the reference model since custom cards will arrive with higher frequencies so its performance will be even higher.

Accompanying the GPU we find 6 GB of GDDR5 memory at a frequency of 7 GHz with a 384-bit interface, which gives a bandwidth of 336 GB / s.

The whole set is powered by an 8-pin and a 6-pin connector and has a TDP of 250W. Its specifications are completed with five screen connections among which we find a DVI, an HDMI 2.0 and three DisplayPort.

As for its price, it comes for $ 649 so the GTX 980 will see its price reduced to approximately $ 499.
