Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Club 3D and HIS have released their graphics cards based on the AMD Tonga Pro GPU, we present the cards and we remind you of the characteristics of the new AMD GPU.

The Tonga Pro GPU with GCN 1.1 architecture is made up of 1792 Stream Processors accompanied by 112 TMUs and 32 ROPs at a base frequency of 918 MHz that will be accompanied by 2 or 4 GB of 5.50 GHz GDDR5 memory attached to a 256-bit bus and with a TDP of 190W. The frequencies are indicative and will differ slightly according to each card.

Club 3D has presented its personalized Radeon R9 285 with its CoolStream heatsink in charge of cooling the card with serial overclocking, it reaches frequencies of 945 Mhz the core and 5.5 Ghz the memory (2GB).

Asus Radeon R9 285 Strix

Asus has released its Radeon R9 285 equipped with the Strix heatsink which closely resembles the DirectCu II used by the brand. The peculiarity of the Strix heatsink is that it works in passive mode until the temperature reaches a threshold defined by the manufacturer, at which point the fans start to spin, reaching frequencies of 954 core and 5.5 Ghz memory.

Gigabyte has opted for its famous WindForce heatsink to keep its Radeon R9 285 cool with overclocking included, it has a frequency of 950 Mhz in the core and 5.60 GHz memory (2GB).

Follow us with the MSI card in which we find the popular TwinFrozr IV heatsink in charge of cooling the card with overclocking included, it reaches a frequency of 1000 Mhz in the core and 5.5 GHz in memory (2GB).
