Google Pixels are guaranteed updates for two years

The new Google Pixel have arrived to replace the Nexus and turn Google into a manufacturer of smartphones, from now on it will no longer be limited to just putting the software on the products of other manufacturers, but will have its own devices. As was the case with the Nexus family, the Google Pixel will enjoy a guaranteed update policy for two years.
Google guarantees updates for its Google Pixel until 2018
Google has confirmed on the support page of their phones that the Google Pixel will be guaranteed updates for a period of two years, this includes Android updates and different security patches. After two years, updates are not guaranteed so there may or may not be updates, most likely the security patches will last longer but not the new versions of Android.
