The Games of the Week from July 25 to 31, 2016

HEADLANDER

Headlander is a curious 2.5D platformer and action game in a “retro-futuristic” adventure that transports us to a very 70s-style sci-fi world that is being controlled by a crazed computer. Produced by Double Fine (Broken Age, Grim Fandango Remastered, etc.) Headlander will debut on PC and Playstation 4.

MINECRAFT EPISODE 7: ACCESS DENIED

Minecraft's graphic adventure reaches its 7th episode with Access Denied. In this seventh episode, Jesse and his people will enter a world controlled by PAMA, a thinking machine with dark intentions.

MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 1 AND 2

The two installments of Marvel Ultimate Alliance that were originally released for Playstation 3 and XBOX360 are going to have a remaster for the new generation consoles XBOX One and Playstation 4 (in addition to PC). Marvel mentioned that the two games will have a renewed interface and graphic improvements. The two titles come at a time when superhero movies are at their peak.

STARDEW VALLEY

The popular game where we are the owner of a farm and we must manage it. Entertaining and addictive in equal measure, Stardew Valley will debut for Linux and Mac systems this week. Stardew Valley is one of the highest rated games in the entire Steam store, with 96% positive ratings.

HYPER LIGHT DRIFTER

Hyper Light Drifter will debut on the XBOX One and Playstation 4 consoles after its successful passage on Steam. The action game 'hack'n slash' is compared to Diablo and Zelda but with a completely unique artistic section and frantic battles that require a lot of skill from the player.

RIPTIDE GP RENEGADE

Riptide is a frenetic futuristic racing game where we drive fast jet skis in different scenarios. The title will debut this week for PC and Playstation 4 platforms, on August 2 it will do the same for NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV. The console version will make use of the split screen to control two players and an online mode that supports up to 8 competitors.

FAIRY FENCER F: ADVENT DARK FORCE

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is a traditional Japanese RPG where we control a young man named Fang, who finds himself immersed in a battle against the gods. With an anime style very similar to the "Tales of" saga, the video game has several endings according to our choices in the adventure. Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is coming to Europe only for the Playstation 4 console.

These are some of the most important releases of Games of the Week # 12. What do you think is the most interesting? Leave us your comment.
