New compilation of The Games of the Week, where we name the most important video game releases for the next seven days. This week is loaded with news, highlighting the return of Gears of War.
The Games of the Week from 10 to 16 October 2016
GEARS OF WAR 4
Gears of War 4 is the new installment of one of the most iconic action sagas today. Born from the hand of Epic Games and Microsoft, the game is for the first time developed by The Coalition, the new study that takes over from Epic.
The fourth installment puts us in the shoes of Marcus Fenix's son, who is now fighting a new threat after extinguishing the Locust.
Gears f War 4 is out for XBOX One and the Windows 10 store.
RISE OF THE TOMB RAIDER
Finally comes the second adventure of Lara Croft for the Playstation 4 console, after her successful stint on XBOX One and Steam.
This version for Playstation 4 is called 20 Year Celebration and brings with it all the downloadable content released so far plus the "Blood Ties" chapter, with compatibility for Playstation VR.
WWE 2K17
New installment based on the popular American wrestling company. This time, not only is the game technically improved with better graphics and animations, it also expands the fighter squad to 130, the most complete that has been seen in a game in the franchise.
WWE 2K17 will be released for new generation consoles and also for Playstation 3, XBOX360 and PC.
DRIVECLUB VR
With the launch of the Playstation VR glasses, the version of Driveclub for virtual reality also arrives . The game is basically the same and new urban races and challenges have been added.
Naturally Driveclub VR is only available on Playstation 4 and is specially created to be enjoyed with the glasses.
SHADOW WARRIOR 2
Shadow Warrior 2 arrives this week on the PC platform with a new cooperative mode in campaign, we control a solitary mercenary in this corrupted world, our protagonist must once again wield a devastating combination of firearms, swords and spells.
DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS
The Dragon Quest saga is mixed with Minecraft and offers a novel role-playing video game where construction and crafting are as interesting as the battles that we must wage against our enemies.
Dragon Quest Builders will be available for Playstation 4 and PSVita.
SKYLANDERS: IMAGINATORS
The Skylanders saga continues to grow with Imaginators, new user-created heroes, new toys, and new possibilities with senseis (up to 31 unpublished). Also added to Crash Bandicoot as part of the character template.
Skylanders Imaginators will be released for XBOX One, Playstation 4, XBOX360, Playstation 3 and WiiU.
