The sony xperia z3 compact, z3 and z2 receive marshmallow

Anonim

Last week we told you that the Xperia Z5 were being upgraded to Marshmallow, but over the weekend we have heard of more members of the Z family to be included. The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, Z2 and normal Z3 also Android Marshmallow is available.

The update comes as part of the Xperia Beta Program, a program that started about a month ago, in several European countries such as Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.

The firmware that they will receive will have the number 23.5.A.0.486 taking the OS version to Android 6.0.1, which although it is a "more current" than the one received by the Z5, there is a small difference.

The software that runs this Beta only has the security patches of December 2015 , while the one carried to the new Sony flagships contain the patches of February 2016.

Although it is most likely that this will end up being the definitive one, there are still things to polish that will be worked during this test.

This does not mean that we will have a poor experience, quite the contrary because we have everything to feel our smartphone reborn again.

From the camera to the Launcher , all the interface available for the latest Xperia is also available for the most veteran.

It is worth noting that it has been confirmed that the STAMINA MODE was replaced by the DOZE function and that the option to use micro SD as ADAPTABLE MEMORY does not appear either .

While it has its details to work with, this is great news for all users of former Z family members.

But tell us! Are you one of the lucky users of an Xperia Z2, Z3 or Z3 Compact with Marshmallow? Tell us your experience in the comment box or join the discussion on Twitter.
