Apple music users can give a month of subscription to their friends

Last Friday, Apple started sending notifications to Apple Music subscribers. These notifications allow, when selected, an invitation link to be sent to the desired person to get a free one-month subscription to Apple Music.

According to Apple, these free trial month invitations can only be sent to people who have not yet subscribed to the Apple Music service. Thus, the person who receives said invitation and uses it, can register for the free trial, which will be automatically renewed after one month for the price of 9.99 euros (or the price in force in each country).

This means that people who have never subscribed to Apple Music before can get a total of four months of free subscription since this free one-month trial via invitation is compatible as the three-month free trial that the company already offers for all its first users.

At the moment, it seems that not all Apple Music users are receiving these notifications, which have been known thanks to some users who have shared it on Twitter and forums such as MacRumors.
