As with Apple, almost from the moment of its birth I have a special devotion to Xiaomi, for its designs, for its wide variety of products and, above all, for its ability to offer high quality at contained prices, sometimes even surprising. And that is why I am so happy that on November 11 Xiaomi will open its first two stores in Spain.

Xiaomi finally officially lands in Spain

It is no secret that Xiaomi had already decided to enter Europe through the Spanish door and in fact, we have already informed you of this in the Professional Review previously. It is absolutely logical and normal. In the first place, because in Spain 80% of the smartphones sold are priced below 300 euros, just where Xiaomi is stronger. And second because, despite having no official presence in Spain, neither physical nor online, nor official distributors or anything at all, Xiaomi has a market share similar to that of Apple, an achievement that, without a doubt, is now you will see increased.

Store that will open Xiaomi in Madrid

With these premises, and all its market calculations that we do not know, on November 11 Xiaomi will open its first two stores in Spain. It will do so in the capital, Madrid. Specifically, in two shopping malls well known to Madrid and those not so Madrid: La Vaguada and Xanadú.

Xiaomi will not arrive yet with all its arsenal of products, but it will enter with the Mi A1 (€ 229), the Mi Mix 2 (€ 499), its Mi Notebook Air laptop, its "box" for vert Mi Box television (75 €, the Mi Band 2 (€ 25), the electric scooter with autonomy of 30 km (€ 350) or the action camera Mi Action Camera 4K (€ 145). And not only in Madrid, because the company is already looking for a place for an imminent opening in Barcelona.

In addition, now all products will have a two-year warranty and can be purchased not only in physical stores, but also through their website mi.com, AliExpress, Amazon, Mediamarkt, The Phone House and Carrefour. No phone operators, at least for now.
