Meizu mx4 with ubuntu touch in 2015
Meizu and Canonical have reached an agreement by which the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will launch next year 2015 a version of its flagship, the Meizu MX4, equipped with the Ubuntu Touch operating system.
This terminal would arrive during the first quarter of 2015 to both the Chinese and European markets. Recall that a prototype of the device equipped with Meizu MX3 hardware and the Canonical operating system was presented at MWC 2014.
Canonical has been working hard with its Ubuntu Touch system despite the fact that it has not yet been implemented on any device as of today. The intention is to offer the entire ecosystem of applications available for the Ubuntu operating system in its version for computers and perhaps in the future that there will even be the possibility of using the desktop within Ubuntu Touch.
Good news that users have a new alternative to current mobile operating systems.
