Screen size and resolution

An OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) panel does not use backlight systems on the back of the panel, this means that you can turn pixels on and off individually. The result is much more vivid and pure blacks with higher contrast, shadow details and a wider color gamut. All OLED technology allows models to be slimmer and weigh less.
But the detail is that there are no models smaller than 55 inches so they are not an option if you want a smaller model. While OLED is perfect for watching movies but not for use as a computer or for gaming.
What is the price difference? At the price level we can say that if your budget is less than € 1500, your option is LED panels.
Whether or not it has HDR
HDR ( High Dynamic Range ) technology reproduces a wider light range, generating a higher level of intensity between the darkest and brightest areas of an image, increasing the quality of details. It is important to know that there are two versions among the major brands: Dolby Vision and HDR 10. The first belongs to Dolby Laboratories and few brands have it while HDR 10 can be found on UHD and 4K televisions.
Although it is worth having this technology it can increase the price of a TV so it is important to take it into account.
A curved screen on a 4K TV
Now that we know the technology of the screen we have to decide whether we want a flat or curved screen. And although the first impression when seeing a curved screen is phenomenal, we must think about the space where we are going to place it.
The curved screen is best enjoyed in the middle as it mimics the way we perceive the real world. So if the family gets together to watch a movie or friends to watch the weekend game, not everyone will be able to appreciate it in the same way.
