Metal gear survive surprises with its modest pc requirements

Metal Gear Survive is the spin-off of the Metal Gear Solid saga infested with zombies, where there will be a great survival component , crafting, management and a lot of cooperation if we play with other players. It is true, there is a lot of skepticism around the game that is far from the original idea of the Kojima game, but there is a very positive aspect, we are not going to require a too powerful computer to be able to play it.

Metal Gear Survive Minimum Requirements

Operating system: Windows 7 × 64, Windows 8 × 64, Windows 10 × 64 (requires 64-bit OS)

Processor: Intel Core i5-4460 (3.40 GHz) or higher, Quad-core or higher

Memory: 4 GB RAM

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 (2GB) or higher (requires DirectX 11 card)

DirectX: Version 11

Storage: 20 GB of available space

Sound card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

As far as we can see in the recommended requirements (we imagine the game at 1080p and with the maximum details), it requires a modest GTX 960 graphics card or equivalent, 8GB of RAM and an i7-4790 processor at 3.6GHz or equivalent.. A configuration like that seems below a current gamer computer.

It seems that Konami has worked well in optimizing the game. We'll check it out when it comes out on PC on February 20.
