Improving the design
The design of the new Surface Pro 4 hardly changes compared to previous versions, although it has been refined and improved. The thickness of the new Surface Pro 4 has been reduced to 8.4 mm compared to the 9.1 mm of the Surface Pro 3. We did not forget the new Type Cover that includes a touchpad with 40% more surface area and a new key design that allows greater separation and a more pleasant and laptop-like route for greater comfort of use. We highlight that both the new docking station and the new Type Cover are compatible with Surface Pro 3.
A luxurious display with PixelSense
The first improvement of the new Surface Pro 4 is found on its screen, this time it is a 12.3-inch unit with an impressive resolution of 2, 736 x 1, 824 pixels so you don't miss a single detail. With these figures it reaches 267 ppi, so the definition and image quality will be unmatched by any other device. Microsoft has managed to reduce the frames so that the size of the Surface Pro 4 does not increase despite its larger screen.
The rest of the improvements on the screen go through the protective glass Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and PixelSense technology with 1024 pressure levels with a non-rechargeable battery capable of withstanding a full year of work.
Latest hardware
It is time to talk about the internal hardware of the Surface Pro 4 and the device does not disappoint at all. So we find the most advanced with sixth generation Intel Core processors (Skylake) that promise unmatched performance and excellent energy efficiency, according to Microsoft the new Surface Pro 4 offers performance 50% higher than Apple's MacBook Air, almost nothing. The processor is packed with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB SSD storage for enviable operating speed. According to Microsoft, the Surface Pro 4 offers a range of up to 9 hours of operation.

An enviable connectivity
The connectivity of the Surface Pro 4 is formed by the wireless technologies WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0 to which are added a USB 3.0 port, a mini DisplayPort port, a microSD slot, a headphone jack and the respective connectors for the Type Cover, docking station and the power cable.
Availability and price
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will have a starting price of 999 euros for the most basic model with an M3 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. From there we find more powerful models and more storage for a higher price.
