Microsoft announces restore data a function to recover files from OneDrive

It's been around a month now that Microsoft was confirmed to be working on a new feature for OneDrive. This function was going to allow users to recover already deleted files. Now, a month later this new function has already been confirmed. It arrives officially under the name of "Restore data ". In this way, it will allow users to recover files that were stored in OneDrive and have been deleted.

So only companies with OneDrive are going to enjoy this feature. If the user accidentally deletes a file, they have up to 30 days to recover it. So you need to be vigilant if something is deleted in order to guarantee that you will be able to recover that document. With this measure Microsoft seeks to offer more services to users and stand up to the competition.

OneDrive will only ask us to mark the date we want to work on. Therefore, we select any day and the file or files that were deleted on that day will be recovered. If the files have also been removed from the trash, this feature will not be able to help you. Neither if version control is disabled.

It is certainly a good news from Microsoft. Since it has added a very interesting function to OneDrive, which prevents users from taking scares. At the moment it is not known if it will reach all users, although it surely is.
