Microsoft releases two patches that fix serious bugs in all versions of windows

Microsoft has released two new security patch downloads that resolve two serious issues that affect all versions of Windows: Including Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, and others. The vulnerabilities involve Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge and the Adobe Type Manager font library.

Packages can be exploited and allow an attacker to gain access to the computer and execute malicious remote codes, infect it with malware (viruses) and steal or erase confidential data.

The failures involve browsers received the number MS15-112 and is related to the corruption of Internet Explorer that, if exploited, could allow full access to the machine, with the same type of account user was connected, allowing actions such as installation of programs and manipulate data.

To correct this bug, users must click a link that opens a site that contains specific code to exploit the bug. The problem is old and affects us all, according to Microsoft, since version 7 of the browser, which means that the correction must be applied in all editions of Windows starting with Windows Vista.

The second bug refers to a series of bugs involving Adobe Type Manager and the way that Windows interpret and display fonts on your computer. If used, it can give an attacker access to your computer, which would involve viewing a site that has code designed to exploit the theme.

This is the second fatal display error involving Windows fonts discovered in 2015. This vulnerability, discovered in July, also allowed invasion through a problem with OpenType fonts.

Aside from these bugs, it has also been an issue in Windows Journal, which only affects Windows Vista and Windows 7. According to Microsoft, none of the issues were being abused by attacks. The patches can be downloaded through Windows Update.
