MiniWiki is a new application from the developer Will Bishop that allows us to navigate Wikipedia directly from our Apple Watch. The app includes features like most popular articles around us, offline reading downloads, bookmarks and more.

With MiniWiki everything will be on your wrist

When you open MiniWiki on your Apple Watch, you access a list of ways to discover articles. You can touch “Read Article” and “Search Articles” using your voice or the Scribble keyboard that allows you to write with your finger on the screen of your Apple Watch. This will take you to a list of results. Select an article and the Wikipedia page will open directly. For example, if you search for “Fangoria”, the search will return a list with all the Wikipedia articles related to that search.

One of the most outstanding features of MiniWiki is "Nearby". By using this feature, MiniWiki will return a list of Wikipedia articles about the places and things around you, especially useful when we are traveling and want to know more about the environment.

All the MiniWiki features for Apple Watch also work with mobile connectivity, making it possible to search Wikipedia articles on the Apple Watch even when you don't have the iPhone nearby (if it's a watch with mobile connectivity, of course). If you do not have one of these models, you also have the option of improving the free version with MiniWiki Pro, which will allow you to download and save articles for later offline reading from just € 2.29. With the Pro version you will also have "Bookmarks" which you can access directly from the main menu.

MiniWiki has been designed from the ground up to fit the Apple Watch's unique screen size, resulting in a smooth and intuitive Wikipedia experience.

MiniWiki is a free download app in the App Store with an upgrade system to its Pro version that is based on "pay what you want": € 2.29, € 3.49 or € 5.49
