One of the main problems that the new AMD AM4 platform is facing is the operation of RAM memory modules, MSI has put the batteries and has worked on an adaptation of the Intel XMP (eXtreme Memory Profile) profiles for new AMD Ryzen processors. A-XMP wants to simplify RAM configuration in Ryzen as much as possible.

MSI simplifies RAM configuration as much as possible in Ryzen

A-XMP comes with the aim of greatly facilitating the configuration of high-frequency memory modules for Ryzen processors and AM4 motherboards, thanks to which DDR4 memory kits will be able to operate at maximum speed on the AMD platform of a very simple way and without the user having to leave his mind trying.

Recall that the Zen microarchitecture used in Ryzen processors has the peculiarity that its performance is greatly influenced by the speed of the memories, the faster the greater the bandwidth of the internal communication of the different parts that make up the chip and therefore can perform at the highest level.

This new feature is coming to MSI motherboards very soon with a BIOS update.
