Msi creator x299, new motherboard designed for core x 10000

MSI has released many diverse products in the past few months, from the Radeon RX 5700 XT EVOKE graphics card to the latest MEG X570 Unify motherboard. The three X299 boards announced today have one thing in common, they are aimed at the professional and creator market. These are the Creator X299, X299 Pro 10G and X299 Pro models.
MSI Creator X299
The MSI Creator X299 motherboard features a unique black color scheme with Mystic RGB that is illuminated through diamond cutouts on the PCH and I / O heatsink.
The motherboard uses a 12-phase digital IR VRM with 90A power stages, and the LGA 2066 socket is powered not by one, but by three 8-pin connectors. There are eight DDR4 DIMM slots that can support 256GB of memory in four-channel mode at speeds up to 4266MHz OC +.
It uses a 10G LAN + Intel Gigabit LAN connection with Intel WIFI 6 and 7 Turbo M.2 connections with M.2 XPANDER-AERO, 1 x Turbo U.2. MSI also offers the THUNDERBOLTM3 expansion card that offers dual DisplayPort and dual Thunderbolt 3.

MSI X299 PRO 10G and not 10G
Moving on to the MSI X299 PRO line, the series comes in 10G and not 10G flavors. Both boards feature an 8-phase VRM that is cooled by a large aluminum heat sink and heat pipes. The CPU socket is powered by dual 8-pin connectors and the eight DDR4 DIMM slots can be seen next to the CPU socket. Motherboards support up to 256GB of capacity at speeds up to 4200MHz (OC +).
The board supports 3-way SLI / Crossfire and two M.2 slots that come with the M.2 Shield Frozr heatsink. The 10G model comes with an add-in card powered by the Aquantia AQC107 controller. Both motherboards have an I / O cover, but they don't have a pre-installed I / O screen like the one on the Creator X299. However, they get an M.2 Xpander-Z that offers two M.2 ports that get active fan cooling on the AIC cover.
