Today MSI launches the N680GTX Lightning, the new queen of graphics cards, equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 GPU. The N680GTX Lightning uses its own architecture with unlocked digital power system to unleash the full power of the graphics card without no further modification. The innovative GPU Reactor, a board attached to the PCB that reduces electrical noise and improves stability for overclocking. The N680GTX Lightning is kept cool thanks to the Twin Frozr IV system with Dust Removal technology, fan temperature settings and SuperPipe. Compared to the reference model, temperatures are reduced by 16º and noise by 6.7dB, offering an optimal balance between temperature and noise. The MSI N680GTX Lightning uses Military Class III components, which have been rigorously tested in an external laboratory to ensure the greatest stability when overclocking. The N680GTX Lightning uses the latest Twin Frozr IV cooling system with exclusive Dust Removal technology, which rotates the blades in reverse for 30 seconds at startup to remove dust from the cooling system and maintain optimal thermal performance. The MSI PropellerBlade technology, which provides 20% more airflow than a conventional fan, is found in the 2 large 10 cm fans. SuperPipe technology and a nickel-plated copper base allow the N680GTX Lightning to run 16º cooler and 6.7dB quieter than the reference model. The N680GTX Lightning also comes with two form-in-one heatsinks that not only improve memory and power module cooling, but improve structural robustness.
