Review of the 2017 MSI motherboards

With the chipset changes brought by Intel Kaby Lake processors, motherboards have been renewed. Those present had tested them by doing the reviews, and after explaining the reasons for some decisions, such as the use of the Intel network card in some models and the Killer in others, they asked our sincere opinions to take into account in future development.. Comments regarding the electrical quality of the boards were heard, the duality of network cards and the inclusion of RGB in some model were discussed.

People at MSI were interested in hearing our opinion on the evolution of MSI's UEFI BIOS in recent years, preparing them to facilitate overclocking. The sensations were positive and confirmed in practice. The nerves regarding the delay of the first Intel Optane memories, with which the latest chipsets are compatible, were discussed.

Renewal of MSI gaming laptops

Laptops arrived and boy did they bring them all. All ranges of laptops were present and we were able to compare them holding them in our hands. They put special emphasis on us testing the GS63VR Stealth Pro model, which despite having a small size and weight for a gaming laptop, is capable of equipping an Nvidia GTX 1060. Although barely 13 days we present the new MSI GE62 7RE more modest, yes, but with great performance.

Several comments came out such as the full use of RGB keyboards, the addition of Cherry MX Speed ​​(Silver) keys for the larger models with a mechanical keyboard, and the screen resolutions. Renewal of MSI gaming desktop PCs

We were finally able to see the first line of MSI desktop PCs of 2017. They explained to us in detail the designs of the cases, which are based on separating sections of air flow when possible and maximizing the number of air flows. CPU and GPU temperatures appreciate being separated from the power supply by tens of degrees Celsius.

We comment on the design, of which it is worth noting the Trident 3 console and the robotic Aegis X3 (above, my favorite), which has the PSU font in the foot.
