Msi presents its new gtx 1080 ti graphics cards

MSI shows us a small preview of what will be its new family of graphics cards based on the powerful GTX 1080 Ti. In total there are going to be about five models, which are going to storm the stores in the coming weeks.

As you can see from the presentation image, they pose the five graphics cards based on the most powerful Nvidia GPU to date, GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X, ARMOR, AERO, Sea Hawk and Sea Hawk Ek.

MSI GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X is going to be a custom model over the Founders Edition, with a much more robust cooling system and one of the best VRMs (power phases) to withstand high overclocking speeds. This model is probably the one with the highest frequencies in the 1080 Ti family.

ARMOR will be the second most basic model with various heatpipes and double 90mm ventilation. As always it will be one of the cheapest MSI lines. We will have to wait for what food incorporates and if it continues to leave this series without a backplate.

AERO is going to be the most economical variant, but it will continue to be personalized with an aluminum radiator and a single Blower format fan. We would love to see how this cooling system behaves with a GPU that requires all assemblers to have cards with two and three fans. If the price is really low, the same is worth opting for it… otherwise we will have to rethink.

The Sea Hawk model will use a double cooling system with a reference heatsink and a Corsair signed watercooler. The other model is the Sea Hawk Ek that already comes mounted with a water block developed by Ek Water Blocks, prepared to be attached to our water cooling system that we have installed in the equipment.

MSI does not reveal anything else about them, neither frequencies nor prices, which should be above the 815 euros that the reference model of the GTX 1080 Ti costs . Or will it be the same as with the 1080 series that cost the Custom cheaper than the Founders Edition?
