MSI has officially unveiled its RTX 2070 lineup, revealing four custom graphics card models ranging from Nvidia's reference specs to its premium Gaming Z model, offering shoppers a larger heatsink design, RGB lighting, and a speed of 'turbo' clock that is 210MHz higher than that of the reference model.

MSI Introduces RTX 2070 Gaming Z, DUKE OC, Armor, and Aero Cards

MSI RTX 2070 Gaming Z uses a custom printed circuit board and extended air cooler to deliver low operating temperatures and lower noise emission. The cooling of this card makes use of the 10 cm TORX 3.0 fans, which are designed to offer high levels of static pressure to ensure good cooling efficiency at low fan speeds, providing low levels of noise output. This graphics card includes a 120MHz (base) increase in clock speed compared to Nvidia's Founders Edition model, which in turn offers a 90MHz overclock over Nvidia's reference design.

Underneath the Gaming Z, we have the RTX 2070 DUKE OC, which uses three TORX 2.0 fans in a triple fan design. This model offers a 135MHz factory overclock over Nvidia's reference design.

MSI's RTX 2070 Armor is designed to come face-to-face with Nvidia's Founders Edition design, offering a design with two TORX 2.0 fans and supporting RGB lighting with MSI's Mystic Light mount. This model offers a 30 MHz increase in clock speed over Nvidia's Founders Edition.

Lastly, we have the MSI RTX 2070 Aero, which is entirely based on Nvidia's reference design and offers the lowest clock speeds in the MSI RTX 2070 series, below the Founders Edition model.
