Msi also has a r9 290x with 8gb vram
Yesterday we announced that AMD plans to launch new models of its top-of-the-line mono-GPU graphics card, the Radeon R9 290X, with the only novelty of having 8 GB of memory. These models are supposed to be exclusive to PowerColor, Club3D and Sapphire assemblers but now we know that MSI is also preparing an R9 290X Gaming with 8GB.
The new MSI R9 290X Gaming with 8GB of VRAM is exactly the same as the standard model with 4GB of memory, the only difference is obviously that it is equipped with twice the memory capacity. Regarding their frequencies, it is only known that they are overclocked but they are not known in detail. Recall that it incorporates a backplate on the back that helps its cooling and provides more rigidity to the card.
